September 17, 2011 SMB MVP Community Roadshow
Join us at Microsoft’s Redmond headquarters for the “home-field” event of the SMB MVP Worldwide Roadshow. This is one you will not want to miss!
We’ve joined forces with our friends to the south in Portland, The Technology Wizards (www.technologywizards.com), to bring in nine Microsoft MVPs for two power-packed days, Friday in Portland, and Saturday in Redmond. For the Redmond event, arrive at 9 AM for coffee and pastries and a chance to mingle with the MVPs before our 10 AM event start time. If you’re feeling the need for travel, sign up for Portland and Redmond’s events and join us for the train ride Friday evening back to Seattle!

PSSBS & HP Geek-Fest Afternoon with Greg Starks
Join Greg Starks, Hewlett-Packard’s SMB Solutions Program Manager, and Steve Banks, Small Business Server MVP, for an afternoon of geeking out with an HP ML350 G6 and HP ProLiant MicroServer. We’ll be spending time with the escrow build of Small Business Server 2011, showing off some great tips and tricks of Greg’s in setup and use of iLO on the ML350. We’ll have some great HP/Microsoft giveaways, and you’ll be in the perfect location to hang out for Qwest’s prime-rib dinner and SMB reseller training immediately following the HP event.

Bring your lunch (usual soft drinks, coffee and juice will be provided) and join the Puget Sound Small Business Server User Group for a half-day (10 AM - 2 PM) of SQL training as it relates to Small Business Server environments. Mike England, Senior Database Administrator for Best Buy, will be presenting from 10 AM - 1 PM, with questions and answers from 1 PM - 2 PM. We will be meeting at our normal location at Microsoft’s offices in Lincoln Square in Bellevue, Washington - 700 Bellevue Way NE - Lincoln Square, Bellevue, WA 98004 (http://www.pssbs.org/about).
We will be collecting $20 a person at the event to compensate Mike for his time. There is a US Bank ATM on the first floor of Lincoln Square if you need to grab cash on your way. We will meet on the 1st floor of Lincoln Square and take the elevators up to the meeting room, so please be there by 9:45 AM.
